Single-User Licensing

Dusty is provided under a Single-User Perpetual License. This license grants you the non-exclusive right to install and use Dusty on up to two (2) personal macOS devices owned and operated by you, provided they are linked to the same Apple ID or user account.

macOS Trash Safety Disclaimer

Dusty is designed to safely identify system junk, caches, and large files. By default, Dusty moves items to the macOS System Trash to allow for user review and recovery.

User Responsibility

Users must review all files flagged for removal before initiating the final "Empty Trash" command in macOS.

Data Recovery

Once the system trash is emptied, Dusty cannot recover deleted data. We recommend regular Time Machine backups.

By using Dusty, you acknowledge that the final decision to delete files rests with you, the user.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DUSTY AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

In no event shall the total aggregate liability of Dusty exceed the amount you paid us to use the software in the last twelve months.
